Welcome to fuchsiablue

Since 2006, we have acted as thinking partner, change agent, coach and facilitator to nearly 200 public, private and third sector businesses with ambitious change agendas. From rethinking strategy, to redesigning operations; from rebuilding teams, to coaching individuals, we work with people to make change stick.

Our work is niche. We offer human-centered, creative, impactful, transformation work for individuals and organisations. We get called when things get gnarly and calm heads, good analysis and practical solutions are required.

About us

What We Do:

We focus on people when others focus on process.

We help organisations and leaders navigate change in a way that builds resilience, not resistance.

Through coaching, facilitation, straight-talking conversations and creative practices, we make transformation human-centered and therefore sustainable

We are dedicated to helping businesses thrive in a competitive marketplace, bringing a wealth of experience and industry expertise to provide insights and solutions strategies that drive results.

Meet our Founder

“I love working at the messy edges of change in organisations.

For over 25 years, I’ve been working in rooms where the stakes are high and leaders or teams are stuck. This is where I work best. I bring a cool head, sharp thinking, deep listening and a call for action. All with a good dose of Scottish pragmatism and humour.

I’m rigorous in my practice, always reflecting and refining what fuchsia blue offers to deliver the best outcomes for clients. With an MSc in Organisational Change and a Master Coach Practitioner Award from APECS, I understand resistance, resilience and brilliance in people and systems. This allows me to plan and intervene successfully to bring change into being with clients.

I’m not just known for what I do, but how I do it - with heart, curiosity, creativity and purpose.

I’m excited about this next evolution of the business, as we step  confidently into this time of uncertainty and opportunity.”

What our clients say

I have been working with Julie as my coach for the last year or so supporting my personal development as part of the Executive Team at Yeo Valley. I am extremely grateful for her continued support and welcome the opportunity to fully endorse her.

Jools is firstly gifted at relationship building, building trust through the authentic care and compassion that she shows. She is thoughtful and reflective, challenging and provocative (as a great coach should be), all packaged within an open, kind and light hearted demeanor.

To conclude, I have nearly 15 years in executive leadership positions and have worked with a number of coaches over that time, I can honestly say I have found the most value in my coaching conversations with Jools.

Matt Thewlis, Yeo.Valley

"Thank you!

Wow! You were wonderful!

The team were full of praise for your facilitation style and how you worked with us all. Already today the atmosphere is lighter, brighter and dare I say it more hopeful."

CEO, Place for Hope.

Julie really listened and understood what we needed. She offered alternative solutions and ideas, which took us in a better direction and faster.

Professional, but no bullsh*t, she was able to have some difficult conversations in a really positive way. She helped the senior team stay focussed and avoid red herrings or getting stuck.
